About Rebecca Williams

We all experience challenges throughout our lives. At times we may feel frustrated, overwhelmed, unappreciated, or misunderstood. If you’re looking for a nonjudgmental, compassionate, space to find support and guidance, therapy might be the right place for you. Research shows therapy can lead to increased happiness, effective coping mechanisms, improved physical health, and more fulfilling relationships.

I have worked with individuals, couples, and families, including adults and adolescents. I am a systemic therapist who works to help cultivate a balanced and rewarding relationship for each individual involved.

Therapy is an opportunity to dig deeper into your understanding of yourself and those around you. Through openness, engagement, and commitment you can find a deeper connection with yourself and in your relationships with others. Together, we can work on achieving your goals.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my dog, friends, and family. While I have lived in the PNW for the last 7 years, I still enjoy finding time to explore this incredible area of the country.

Q&A With Rebecca Williams

I find that many clients come to therapy wanting an immediate noticeable change. While I think it is important to help clients find coping strategies they can use somewhat quickly, it is also important to uncover the root cause of the symptoms or issues.

Some clients need help feeling more comfortable in the therapeutic setting at first. My hope is that once the therapeutic relationship feels more natural, clients will feel more comfortable leading their sessions and bringing the important topics they want to discuss, work on, or share.

I am empathetic, compassionate, and understanding. I strive to create a unique therapeutic experience for each client by being flexible and adaptable. I try to bring levity into therapy when appropriate, as I find that humor can be healing.

If I could pick one superpower, I would choose the ability to fly. It would make travel much easier, I would never have to worry about traffic, and I wouldn’t have to worry about car maintenance.

Stand up comedy can almost always make me laugh!

That’s a tough one, I would either have dinner with Aaron Rodgers from the Green Bay Packers, or Robin Williams.
